About the Role

This is not your typical sales job and we’re not your typical Survey Firm. The opportunity we’re presenting is to come take over a book of business as the first Business Development Rep at our firm. Currently all sales and relationship management is done by the two owners. With our recent growth we need someone to come take over and continue to implement and drive our sales pipeline, as well as maintain our accounts.

The person who we hire will step into an existing portfolio and use it as a base to help continue to grow the firm. All existing relationships will transfer to your account, and you will have the autonomy to develop and implement a business development process that works.

So, here is my attempt to find you…the right person for our team. There is only one of you out there and I am looking forward to meeting you.

What You Bring

  • Education: We’re more interested in who you are and what you can do than what degree you have.  

  • Technology: We use Monday.com for project management and our CRM, but we’re open to purchasing any CRM that you can convince us is worth the money.

  • Professional Experience: Three to fifteen years of experience in business development within the public works, land survey, and infrastructure space preferred.

  • Municipal/Government Contract Experience: Experience in municipal/government sales, with an existing network and an understanding of the decision-making process of general contractors and prime contractors in the space.
