We want to be your partner. At Inland, we are a team. With a combined 400 years of experience amongst our staff, our focus is not only on the product but how we get there. We understand that every project is different and cannot be approached the same way. Our goal is to create strong connections and trust between us and our partners, and we do this by focusing on open communication and transparent collaboration.

Beyond our experience and team-oriented approach, we are a privately owned, survey-

only firm with a specialization in infrastructure and municipal projects in Central Texas. Founded in 2002, we are deeply rooted in our community, and our intimate knowledge of the area allows us to navigate its unique landscapes and requirements easily. This familiarity allows us to invest more time and attention to each project, and we can tailor our services to the specific needs of those we are working with.

Frank Rivera

As President/Owner of Inland, Frank brings a wide range of assets to our team. A United States Naval Academy graduate, he served as a Field Artillery Officer with the Marines before transitioning to a career in Private Equity and Real Estate. After receiving a Master's in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University, Frank spent nearly a decade managing assets of over $220 million in real estate portfolios across Texas. At Inland, he brings his knowledge of business operations and relationship management to the team, guiding our company toward success.

Chief Surveyor

Miguel A. Escobar LSLS, RPLS

Mr. Escobar brings more than 31 years of experience in the land surveying industry and 22 years as a registered professional in Texas. Mr. Escobar has a wide variety of project experience, ranging from large acreage boundary surveys to numerous right-of-way and design surveys throughout Texas. Much of Mr. Escobar’s experience has been in the land development industry and in municipal projects. Mr. Escobar was an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College (ACC) in their land surveying program for 6.5 years and sits on the Advisory Committees for the land surveying programs at ACC and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. Mr. Escobar is one of only 53 individuals in Texas who hold the title of Licensed State Land Surveyor.

Business Development

Trey Fisher

Having spent over 16 years in the surveying industry, Mr. Fisher began his journey as a field surveyor and later transitioned into a business development role at Inland. Trey's been a key player in strengthening partnerships with neighboring firms, shaping the collaborative landscape of our area. His day-to-day involves crafting proposals, nurturing client relationships, and delving into project research, all pivotal to Inland’s ongoing success.

Staff RPLS

Marvin Mardock, RPLS

Marvin has over 50 years of experience in surveying, with over 35 of those years as an RPLS. Currently licensed in 9 states, Marvin has been using his expertise in the central Texas area since 1993. He has experience with site development, topographic, boundary, and tree surveys, as well as deed research and as-built surveys.

Chief of Staff

Evan Aldrich, MBA

Evan brings a well-rounded background in business and leadership to his role. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and an MBA from UWF, both of which have equipped him with strong strategic and operational skills. His experience as an Army officer further developed his leadership and team management abilities. At Inland, Evan focuses on enhancing executive operations and ensuring effective coordination across teams, playing a key role in driving the company’s ongoing success.

Project Manager

Benjamin Boatright, SIT

Mr. Benjamin Boatright possesses 7 years of experience in surveying. Before becoming an SIT in early 2024, Ben worked as a senior office technician processing and manipulating data and producing CAD deliverables for roadway design and acquisition surveys, utility route surveys, easement preparation, title surveys, initial QA/QC protocols, subdivision design and layout. Before coming to Inland, Ben worked all the way up from Rodman to Field Operations Coordinator before transitioning into the office. While in the office, Ben is set to complete his Associates Degree in Geospatial Engineering in May of 2025.

Bob Brown

Bob Brown brings over three decades of field surveying experience with a journey that began in 1980. Starting as a rodman and progressing through the ranks to become a Senior Field Technician and Party Chief, Bob's expertise spans the spectrum. At Inland, he spearheads all field surveying coordination efforts and provides oversight to our dedicated field staff. Bob collaborates closely with our office team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between both ends. With his wealth of experience, Bob is an invaluable asset to Inland, consistently contributing to our success.
